The cause of stress comes from many avenues. It comes from the external environment in the form of heat, cold, noise, lack of oxygen, electromagnetics, and toxins. Stress may originate from inside the body in the form of high blood pressure, pain, tumors, or negative thoughts.

Poisoning, overexposure, severe infection, and surgical operations are forms of severe stress on the body.

Fortunately, the body has many regulatory systems that oppose the forces of stress and bring the internal environment back into balance.

But it is important to know and understand the causes of stress so you can begin to reduce those you can.
