Loss of body weight.
2. Resistance Stage. Body learns to adapt and cope with the advancing stages of stress. Weight normalizes but
many systems turn to sub-optimal functioning.
3. Exhaustion Stage. Very similar to symptoms in alarm stage. Noticable premature aging due to wear and tear.
The idea of stress goes back to the Greeks. The use of stress
management as treatment had been practiced for thousands of years.
Stress is also considered an abstraction; you cannot see it,
touch it, or use any of the five senses to observe it. The source of stress in
the body is a componant of the mind and emotions that in turn affect the body
physiologically.
