Is there a perfect stress reducer? Is there a magical formula to
reduce stress in your life? Is there a pill that you can take that will give you
stress relief without any side effects?
First of all, there are three major categories of stress:
physical, nutritional, and emotional.
For real stress management to work, the
PHYSICAL, NUTRITIONAL, AND EMOTIONAL
areas have to be attended to.
The way you manage stress is like tending a garden. If you ignore any part of
it, the weeds or your stress will overgrow and take control of your life.
Physically: Get some exercise. DO SOMETHING that involves your arms, legs, and
increases your heart rate.
Nutritionally: Stop eating junk. Eat and drink life-giving substances that will
sustain life -- not take away from it.
Emotionally: Clear your mind of the clutter that you have accumulated.
