Emotional
Stress
Emotional stress is generated in the
subconscious mind remain there as a feeling. These feelings are repressed
because the mind doesn’t want to experience them, nor does it want them to be
seen by the outside world.
Emotional stress is the accumulation of unconscious repressed, unacceptable
emotions. These emotions create emotional states of operation that we must
function out of. It is from these emotional states that we view the world and
make our decisions about life.
Emotional stresses that continue, force these states of functioning.
In order to change the emotional state, the emotional stress must be lessened,
avoided, or removed.
Emotional stress can produce long-term emotional changes such as:
- Memory disturbances
- Alteration in the response to fear
- Depression
- Sleeplessness
- Anxiety disorders like phobias
- Poor self esteem
- Substance abuse
- Anti social behavior
The emotional stress can be dealt with using specific emotional identifiers and
altered through appropriate emotional strategies.
